Whoa baby!

Caleb had his one month doctor's appointment today. Ever since Caleb was born I've had people come to me and say, "Ohhhh! He's so tiny!" or "Ooooo, you have a little baby!" So imagine my surprise when I find out that my baby, my sweet small baby, is in the 90TH PERCENTILE in weight and head circumference. In height, he's in the 95TH PERCENTILE! Seriously, where did that come from? I've been wearing heels for the past 10 years to be taller and Kyle isn't short but he's definitely not tall. I have a feeling my big baby is big because a) he was born a week late and b) his one month check up was nine days after he turned one month old. At the same time--I feel great that he's gaining well. Woo hoo!!! After all, the only thing he's been eating is what he's getting from me. It's quite an empowering feeling.

Head circumference: 39 cm

Weight: 10 lbs. 4 oz.

Height: 24 inches
