Mmmmmm, toys

Yesterday we were playing on the floor with Caleb and eating our dinner. Kyle had made us his special ramen, where instead of using the topping packets they give you, he put in Ranch dressing and parmesan cheese. I topped mine off with some peas nuked in the microwave. Sounds gross, but don't bash it if you haven't tried it. It tastes like alfredo more than anything. (Thanks, Scottie, for the idea.)

Anyway, we were on the floor and I saw an ant crawling around. After watching the one ant for a while I noticed another ant, than another, than another, etc. Unfortunately, I think a whole colony had settled down right on our living room carpet.

I thought about the last time we actually vacuumed our living room and we both decided that it might be a good idea to vacuum again.

I had Kyle with me to do the task and if you know Kyle, he never does anything half-heartedly. We moved the couch, swing, chairs, everything to one side of the room and vacuumed and then moved everything to the other side. Our church is having a garage sale soon so we looked for stuff to get rid of all the while.

PLUS, Caleb is recently very interested in TOYS!!!! Soon, we'll have to babyproof the house and cleaning out all of our extra stuff was a good start to that.

My mom requested a post with lots of pictures so here are a ton of pictures of Caleb enjoying toys. It's so fun to watch him. He loves everything from a simple washcloth (wet or not wet) to his huge extravagant exersaucer. He's getting really good at grabbing the toys. His favorite thing to do once he has it is to stick it in his mouth.

Very cute! You need to come back up to Sioux Center so we can all see him again. If you need something safe to get rid of the ants, use Ortho Home Defense. It is the best for in home and safe to use along the walls and such. Ants are not fun! Judy, Katie and Jackie
