Shots = 1, Caleb = 1

Caleb had his second set of shots today. Last time he had a little bit of a fever but this time he is recovering nicely. If anything, he's more cuddly and I can't say I'm opposed to this behavior.

Once again, I almost cried, but at least he wasn't looking at me when they poked him. That was the toughest thing for me last time.

I hate to brag (okay, you're right--I don't hate it) but when the nurse gave him his oral vaccination she said she remembered him from last time because he was the only baby that didn't spit any of it out. He was a champion oral-shot-taker-inner this time as well--no spillage.

Here are his stats:

Height: 26 inches (100th percentile)
Weight: 15 lbs. 9 oz. (75th percentile)
Head circumference: 43 cm (100th percentile)

He's doing tons of new things. He's starting to roll over from his back to his tummy more and more. His favorite place to practice this new move is in bed in the wee hours of the night and once he makes it there, starts screaming until mom picks him up and calms him down.

He really enjoys his exersaucer. He can be in there for a full 20 minutes playing with the toys around him or sucking on the fabric.
Unfortunately, it's not ALL fun and games. He was playing so well in the exersaucer before I grabbed the camera to take a picture of him. Then right before I snapped the picture, he lunged forward and bopped his head. Looking at this picture makes me want to scoop him up, hold him close and comfort him. Ohhhhh. Poor guy.I'd rather not leave you with such a sad image, so I'll leave you with this. It shows how well Caleb plays in the exersaucer AND just how expressive our little boy is. :)

Ohhh - what a sad face for Caleb! Was the video taken on the shot day? If so - he seemed pretty happy! GmaF
