This time last year...

We were absolutely bursting to tell the news about our up and coming arrival. I was eight weeks pregnant and we wanted to share the news with our families.

I wanted to tell the families some other way than just telling them, so we conjured up a plan for Kyle to take a picture of the family right after he said "Smile and say, 'Lori's pregnant and due in January!'"

We tried it out on my family first.

No one believed him.

I guess he had a history of being a jokester.
We decided to take another one. Kyle's family believed him a little more. Here's the real thing.
Both families were very excited!

It's amazing how much can change in a year.

That's really funny!

Several months ago, Josh and my family were having breakfast together the day I found out I was pregnant. I announced it at the table, saying "Sammy just found out he's going to be a BIG brother!". My dad just looked at me for a moment and said, "Huhhhhh, You're kidding, right?".

So much for having our families believe us!!!
