Caleb has been a lot of fun in the past couple weeks. His vocabulary has gone from about five words to about 15. We're even starting to work on names and two word syllables like (uncle) "Josh" and "baby". His favorite word is "yeah". He says it all the time. I ask him things like," do you want a cracker?" or "Can you find your clothes?" and he say "Yeah!" and run over to the snack cupboard or his closet. He recently even carried on an actual conversation with Grandma N. (I think Grandma was asking a lot of questions.)
From Crackle:
P.S. Crackle isn't my favorite video uploading website, but for some reason YouTube isn't working for us. Any thoughts?
We are also trying to get rid of Caleb's second nap. It's a nasty game I don't like playing. Two naps is almost too much and one nap is almost too little. I think this might be harder on me than on him. He can usually do pretty well but now that I'm working, I especially like a bit of time to take a shower, blog, cook, and all that jazz. But I'm not getting much of that, hence the lack of blogging lately.
That said, he is a lot of fun right now. A lot of parents look at their newborn child and ask themselves, "How do I play with...that? He can't even move without flinging his are into his head multiple times." But Caleb being 18 months brings a lot of opportunities to play and have fun. Ring around the Rosie is a favorite. So is the "Where's Caleb?" game. Right now he especially loves putting coins into his piggy bank.
Okay, I gotsta go. Ta ta!
