DPP Day 4 & 5

DPP Day 4

Kyle snapped this picture yesterday.  I attend a mom's group and yesterday we got these Jesse Trees as a gift.  It's a cool little way to teach your child(ren) about Christmas, starting from Adam and Eve and leading to the birth of Jesus.  We only have four ornaments up (Adam and Eve, the fall, Noah's ark, and Abraham) since it was only the fourth of December yesterday.

DPP Day 5

On Fridays I volunteer at our church's Foodnet.  Grocery stores give us their expired or nearly expired food and we distribute it to those who can use it.

I absolutely treasure this season of love.

Your little family is so sweet, Lori. I enjoyed going back through your archives and "getting to know you" a bit.

I'll be back to check out the DPP.

Congrats on your upcoming new addition!!

I love the Jesse Tree cloth hanging. I wanted to do a Jesse Tree this year but I didn't want to buy a little tree to put the ornaments on. I will definately be making one of those. Does Caleb understand the devotional?
