Besides going to prenatal appointments we haven't really done anything to get ready for this baby until yesterday. I ordered a pack and play from Target which will be placed in our bedroom and his bed until Caleb moves up to a toddler bed. Then we'll shove the boys in the same room and hope for the best.
I'm still deciding whether or not to cloth diaper the newborn. Of course I'll use the diapers I have when he's Caleb's size, but I think I might wait until he comes to decide if I like it. I have two diapers that can go from newborns to kids ready to potty train, so I'll try those out first.
I've been getting tired a lot quicker and I think (crossing my fingers) that I'm finally getting over a sinus infection I've had for 2 weeks. The baby loves to get the hiccups and moves quite a bit. I've also been getting quite a few false contractions. It's even gotten to the point where I've had to set the timer for an hour and make sure I don't get more than 4. Thankfully, I haven't had to call my doctor yet.

You'll have to let me know if you decide to cloth diaper a newborn. I'm thinking about starting the next one in the hospital in cloth, and have started a small stash, which I will add to once we find out the gender. I think we'll mostly do prefolds since they're cheap and can be used as inserts once the baby outgrows them :o)
Hey Lori,
You look so cute with your big pregnant belly. I love it. Only 8 weeks left, ah! I have to get working on your baby gift.
The false contractions drove me crazy in my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies. When I was about 36 weeks pregnant with Sage, I stayed up all night timing contrations. Matt took me to the hospital the next morning. At the hospital I was monitored for 2 hours and I didn't have a single contration. I sure felt stupid.
I hope your energy picks up. It is wearing being pregnant and having a little one at home.
Wow. It's almost time. I can't belive how much you've grown since Christmas. I miss you guys and Caleb.
I had the urge to call him on the way home today...amidst the craziness and having people over for supper and to decorate cookies, I just wanted to talk with Caleb about whatever. I realize he probably doesnt' really talk on the phone, but that's ok.
Talking to you about coming in 7 weeks on the phone made me more excited. Maybe you will even have a little one by then:) Or I can help you finish getting ready.
Sorry I just wrote a short story in your comments.
...sugar rush from Valentines cookies:)
Was caleb breech also? I have heard that midwives can manually move the baby, although it is uncomfortable. (I didn't know they could do that until I read about it in the last few days.)
No, he wasn't. My midwife didn't really seem concerned that this one was breech, so maybe....
Ouch.
