1. Happy 4th!!

2. In fact, Caleb has been sleeping a LOT lately. Yesterday he went to sleep around 2:30 pm and didn't get up until 6:30 AM!!!
I'm pretty sure he has hit a growth spurt. He's constantly hungry (except when dinner time comes around, of course) and he often complains of legs and arms hurting.
And his napping is out of control. The day I took this picture, I tried to wake him up after a 2 hour nap so that he'd be sleepy by bedtime. A walk couldn't even cure him of his sleepiness. Finally, Kyle and I just gave up and put him back to bed where he slept until morning.
3. This stroller rocks. We got it before Caleb was born and used it religiously with him. When Isaiah came along, we tried out some double strollers but none were all that great. But this trusty single stroller can handle two kids no problem. This is one way to put them in (above). Another way is by putting Isaiah in the seat and Caleb way up on top with his back against the handles. A third way is by putting the seat all the way back and putting them both in the seat.
4. This house is full of screaming. Ahhh! I want to scream just thinking about it but now I'm enjoying the peace and quiet from naptime. Isaiah screams to get attention, to get food, to show he's upset, and for recreation. It's a bit of a nightmare, but I realize it's a phase and I'm trying to ignore it/discipline it as much as I think is needed. My head knows that, but when I hear 10 ear splitting squeals in 5 minutes, I'm ready to just yell right back at him. I think that's what Caleb feels too, because he's picked it up as well.

He's thinking about screaming right now. Should I? Shouldn't I?
5. I love my neighbors. We had a neighborhood picnic this week and it HAS to happen again because it was way too much fun.

6. The Brother is getting married! Chad and Christine emailed me some of their engagement pics today and this one was too cute not to post. When did my little brother grow up?

7. With all the screaming and noise in general, I'm officially letting everyone know that they can stop the fireworks now. Isaiah woke up at least 5 times these past couple of nights because he's such a light sleeper and I'm done with all the pops and bangs myself. Feel free to stop, people.

8. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go visit this guy. I want to give him all my auntie love and snuggle him and kiss him all over.

Since we didn't get to chat much yesterday abotu the screaming...Lukka has totally picked it up from Ani, too, and yeah its BAD! I discipline Lukka more harshly since he knows how to talk now, Ani I just say sternly NO, and if it gets really bad, may thump her nose or slap her hand with a NO.
Can't believe Caleb slept that long...HOLY MOLEY!!!!!

We had a couple of screamers, too. Aack.
I love that picture of Isaiah in his plaid shorts, trying to decide whether or not to scream....he looks like such a BOY! Not a baby anymore, mama.

It's time to see them again!
Love the little flag and Isaiah.
Caleb looks like he's having fun
in the water.
You didn't scream when you were a
baby--you squealed. :)
