A Great Grandma

Last week we celebrated the life of Kyle's grandma, Esther.  She was one of the most sweetest women I've ever met.  Heaven has gained a wonderful lady, and she's left her Alzheimer's diseased body for glories beyond imagination in heaven.

One quick story:  When I was a brand new mother of 6 weeks, our small family made the trek to Minnesota to show off our pride and joy.  Caleb was also extremely temperamental that week from lack of a schedule and being passed around much more than normal.  We visited Pete and Esther and put Caleb in his Great Grandma's arms.  I thought, "Here we go again.  He's going to start screaming."  But when he fell into her hold, he instantly relaxed and fell asleep with her tiny hand on his face.

Kyle's mom always said she had the magic touch with kids, but I truly believed it that day.

We love you Great Grandma and Grandma who was Great.

We wish we could still return all the many kisses you gave us, but we'll be content with waiting until we see you again.
