Double take!
Caleb and Livia look alike, don't you think?
The boys are getting along more. I remember thinking this moment was never going to happen, but now it finally has (though we're still working Caleb's occasional bullying towards Isaiah.)
I mentioned that Caleb is into Star Wars. We cut a pool noodle in half and put some duct tape on the ends to make light "savers," as Caleb likes to call them.
Isaiah doesn't quite get the concept of a light saber, but he likes to play with them. We keep on saying, "Isaiah, are your hands on fire?" He ignores us and keeps on fighting.
I love the warm weather. Swinging is a new favorite activity around this house.
Caleb and Isaiah both made gifts for their Grandma's on Mother's Day but I have to show you one thing that he made almost entirely by himself. It's modeled after the book, Dear Zoo. I wrote the things in black and he told me what to write and I wrote it in purple. He also drew the pictures.
Dear Grandma
By: Caleb
I wrote to grandma to send me a dinosaur. She sent me a stegosaurus. He was too pointy. I sent him back.
So she sent me a T-Rex. He was too stompy. I sent him back.
So she sent me a pteranodon. He was too fly-ie. I sent him back.
So she sent me a triceratops. He was too horny. I sent him back.
So she though very hard, and sent me a caterpillar in a jar with dirt and leaves and water too. It was perfect! I kept it!
And last, but definitely not least, my sister, Angie, had her baby on Mother's Day! Andrew (Andy) James was born after mom was in the hospital for ten minutes. I guess he was in a hurry to show up for Mother's Day. :)
