-listening to Isaiah sing his ABC's. love the "l, m, n, o".
-sighing from the whining. isaiah had a magical 4 days of minimal whining and i got excited because the "whine phase" was finally over but it came back in full force. ugh.
-sipping tea. vanilla chamomile is my tea of choice. i've also become quite fond of my coffee in the morning as well--with a bit of york peppermint pattie creamer mixed in. mmmmmm.
-watching Kyle mow with the push mower. i love that he loves to mow with it.
-figuring out how to go about having my first garden. you can see the corner of the plot in the photo above on the far left. i'm hoping to have fresh tomatoes, peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, basil, corn, beans, and peas this summer. fingers crossed.
-playing piano with Isaiah when he plays the drums. he could care less what i play so we have a little praise and worship jam session several times a day. it's pretty awesome. he'll play on his little teeny drum set for almost an hour every day (collectively) so imagine his surprise when my parents came with this real kid's drum set a couple of weeks ago.
-changing a disciplining tactic. instead of sending them to their rooms for a time out, i send the boys outside to run around the house when their being ornery. i figure they might as well get some exercise in the process.
-cheering for livia. she loves this little walker a friend gave us. she's gaining enough confidence to take a few steps as well.
-farming with Isaiah using his new barn made by Grandpa. my dad can concoct anything with a saw and some wood, given enough time.
-trying out different sleeping arrangements. the boys started sleeping in different beds with one on top and one on bottom. then they both slept in the top, then both in the top only heads on different sides. now, i think Isaiah's sleeping on the top and Caleb is sleeping under the bottom.
-sticking in a quick picture from Easter morning 'cuz i forgot to on Easter.
-getting into my sewing groove again. i was out of it for a long while but the desire is back and it's so therapeutic. i'll have to post some things i've been working later.
-listening to the rustle of the leaves on the trees from the wind. i love having the doors and windows open. and maybe if we're lucky, we'll have a storm roll through this afternoon.

Great pictures - sooo good to see the pictures of the kids. Isaiah did super on the alphabet song! So eager to see Livia taking some steps, even behind a walker! Can't wait!! G-ma F.
Jay LOVED watching the ABC video and was mouthing the words the whole time without saying them outloud. I adore the easter picture. Isaiah's outfit is SO cute and Livia's dress looks very flowy (and cute with a matching bib). MISS YOU GUYS.
