Livia's 1 year check-up

Livia finally made it to her one year check-up at 13+ months.

Weight: 19 obs 7 oz. (15th %)
Length: 29 1/4 inches (50th%)
Head Circumference: 17 1/2 inches (25th %)

She's a healthy little girl with two bottom teeth and 4 more trying to poke their way through.

She started walking right at a year.  If you want exact, she walked across a room for the first time two days before her birthday.

Although her hair is coming in with some curls by her ears, Livia's still struggling to grow hair above her forehead, but it's nothing different than her mama at that age.

And her brother Caleb.

And her brother Isaiah.  So she fits right in.

And when we add daddy to the mix, there's just no way she get get away from that balding forehead, curly hair-by-the-ears look.
I had a little too much fun finding pictures for this, so I went crazy and couldn't help but add more.
Here's me at 13 months.

And Liv and 13 months.

I really think she looks like me, but maybe I'm just hoping we look the same.

Then again, she can look like Kyle, too.

On a more factual note, Livia has started talking.  She says "moo" for cows.  She giggles the same way we giggle. She holds the phone up to her ear and says "haaa".  Kyle says she's practicing up on her souther drawl.  She loves to wave, hold up her hands for So Big and play peekaboo.  I even heard her say "ee ee boo".

Her brothers like to hug her all the time and she'd rather not be constantly hugged, especially since most of the hugs end up on the floor.  She can hold her own and boy, she's loud.  I think that might be her best form of defense.  She knows how to let her brothers know when she doesn't like something.

She loves sliding down slides, swinging, cheese, playing peekaboo, helping unload the dishwasher, throwing everything out of the cupboards, and sticking anything she can in her mouth.

There is nothing she won't eat.  I've seen it all: june bugs, sand, legos, dirt...

And pacifiers.  Thank goodness for those pacifiers.  She's not completely dependent upon them, but I'm  very happy she'll take them.  She'll take every kind out there too, not just one brand.

Oh, and she also has her dad's tongue.  And I'm not kidding about this one.
