Last Weeks as a Family of Five

Sunday morning turned out to be a great day for scraping up the leaves that finally started falling.

Caleb was allowed to put leaves on top of people if they gave him permission.

Isaiah was nice enough to help clean the willing person off.

36 weeks and 3 days...

Luther offered a free football clinic that Caleb loved.  He got to run, tackle, catch and all sorts of boy fun.

Ha, I giggle every time I see this picture.  Caleb and Isaiah came up with a game called "Kick the Bucket".

The black thing they hang the bucket on they call a "hooker".  The hooker was so coveted by all three kids for other things that Caleb made a rule that "whoever wants to play with the hooker has to pay a dollar".   Oh to be young and innocent.  I love it.

Kyle and I took a little mini pre-baby vacation to a cabin in Wisconsin with some good friends.  We took off on Friday afternoon and came back on Sunday afternoon.  It was AMAZING and we enjoyed our kid-less time thoroughly.  Thank you Grandpa and Grandma F for making that possible!

With Isaiah being in TK and gone all day 3 days, Liv and I are having a little more girl time.  We had a tea party the other day, complete with flowers and Rice Krispies tea.

We've also been the basement a good deal lately.  Grandma F helped Caleb sort ALL his legos by color and piece while we were at the cabin.  Since then, we've found all the pieces to a bunch of his old lego sets.  I can't even tell you how excited he gets about this.  His mouth goes about 100 mph and he chats and chats and chats when we're finding legos.

He also creates while we look.  Here's an original police station. You can't see the jail cells and handcuffs inside the station, but they're there.  He thought of everything.  Liv and Isaiah like playing with legos too, which is so relieving to have an activity we all enjoy.  Liv built the "Movie Theater" in the far right of the picture.

We got a chaise from Uncle Orey that we stuck downstairs.  It turned out to be the ultimate gathering spot for our last family movie night.

I wasn't able to help Kyle put all the kids to bed one night.  While he was reading books to Isaiah and Caleb, Livia was beautifying herself and putting Aquafor ALL over the place in the bathroom, including her hair.  After 3 baths, her hair still looked like it was wet, thought you can't see it very well in this picture.  I this picture during her crabby "Don't-talk-to-me-before-I-drink-my-milk" phase that morning.

Andy has that same "don't talk to me until I drink my milk" in the morning attitude! Love the dollar for the hooker game, Jay and andy still have the bungee cord hanging across the top of the back seat in my vehicle, and they frequently say "were the honkers"...cracks me up. You look GREAT! The leave pictures were cute too.The lego police station is awesome. I'll have to show Jay.

Leaves are falling here too!
Looks like you are all keeping busy.
You are looking good, and the LEGO stuff is cool.
Made up games are the best--but called "kick the bucket"? Funny!
Cute pics.

Our 5 year old has just made it through the milk thing. She is so excited for school that she forgot about it few mornings.
