We celebrated Livia's birthday today which also happened to be the last day of school.
Here are some first and last day photos for your viewing enjoyment.

Back to Livia's party...
Liv was supposed to have her party a week and a half ago but she got sick on a Monday and still wasn't completely better by her birthday 5 days later. It was a nasty bug and everyone except for me got some form of it.
Thankfully we were all better by the time the new party day arrived.
The kids got done with school at 1:30 and I had Livia's friends ride the bus to our house. I was racing against the clock with decorations (that were promptly ignored) when I said to Kyle, "I wonder when the bus is coming..." and then we heard little girl crazy-excited screams growing louder and louder. The bus was here.
Liv decided on inviting four other kindergarten friends, all who happen to be with in three blocks of our house.
After going a little crazy with showing me all their last day of school snacks, presents from friends and teachers and then screaming a bit more, jumping on the trampoline and throwing diapers at me (really), we calmed down a bit and made a craft.
Liv requested a butterfly party so we made a paper stained glass butterfly. Final product is on the bottom right.
Then after a bit more crazy, we ate a little and had a fashion show. Cuz that's how we do it.
This girl was a ham. She cracked me up the whole time.
Unicorn Elsa with a tutu, a leopard and a polar bear? Absolutely. Why not?
I'm not sure what Livia's doing, but I feel a little self conscious when I look at this picture of her too long.
Outfit change!
Present time.
Liv has a great group of friends. I love these girls. They really were a blast to have over. I won't call them loud. Rambunctious sounds much better.
And they knew how to have a great time.
Later we pulled out the face paints and ate cupcakes.
Liv was very involved in the goody bag process. She made sure everything was just so.
God bless Livia. She's a great little addition to our family of rough and tough boys. Her favorite thing to play right now is teacher with whoever will be her student. Lincoln has been the pupil of choice as of late.
Her favorite food is truly almost anything with sugar. Graham crackers and Nutella are her go-to snack. Fruit Rollups and Fruit by the Foot are her latest choices for a special treat, although she specifically asked for cheeseballs for her party food.
She still loves to draw, color, create and write. She's a fantastic speller and I swear this kid Kenyon has a crush on her. Livia says he just likes like to draw so I could be wrong but...
...yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm not.
(Math involved in the card too. Could he have done his research on how to please the girl's dad?)
She loves to show her emotions, especially when Caleb picks on her or Lincoln takes her things. And her emotions can get at a very high decimal and at a very very high pitch. Thankfully, Isaiah seems to always be her bud and they get along quite well.
Anything with unicorns, trolls, rainbows, hearts, flowers, princesses, or glitter will draw her in.
She sings a lot too. She is especially loving the VBS cd we got to prepare for VBS week. My mom came over this past weekend and noticed Liv singing a lot. She asked me if she always sang that much and I told her I hadn't noticed. Well, since then I've noticed and yes, she does sing. All the time, in fact.
And now I must end this post. For even though the party was fun and the girls crazy and great to host. I. AM. SPENT. Hasta la vista.
