Here's the awaited picture of our new baby-porch-swing!
Kyle and I had tea and cookies last night while sitting out on the porch, just like old times--before any tiny body could scream away his discontentment with the world around his bedtime. The swinging motion and late evening combo put Caleb in a glorious state of zombiness. Yes, I admit it. I love my baby tons, but when it gets to be around 7 or 8 at night I will revel in this state of zombiness.
Caleb cut his second tooth today. It wasn't nearly as wonderful of experience as the first one though. I felt so bad for him as he tried biting everything in sight, including my shoulder, my face, my hands, etc. I think he was so exhausted from teething that he went to bed an hour early tonight. Or maybe it was because I gave him infants tylenol...

I still haven't gotten a good picture of Caleb's new teeth, but I think I will stop trying. I don't think he's very fond of me looking at his mouth every hour or so. Here's my last two attempts. Sorry folks. I have failed you.

We got Sammy a swing kind of like that for his b-day, and he SCREAMS every time we put him in it. I'm glad someone is enjoying their infant swing!!!
That is the exact swing we had when the boys were babies! Way to go Caleb on your 2nd tooth! Now maybe you'll give Mom and Dad a little break for a while! G-ma F.
