15 month update: Updated

Caleb turned 15 months old today.

We went to the doctor and had his check-up. Everything checked out great except for a little earwax build-up and some dry skin.

Here are his stats:

Weight: 24 lbs 6 oz (75th %)

Height: 32 1/4 inches (95th %) (Or as Kyle would say, he's 2' 8".)

Head Circumference: 48 1/2 cm (95th %)

*Caleb hasn't changed physically all that much since he was 12 months. He walks much better and he can catch his falls a little better. He runs now and he still climbs up on everything.

*Now that it has gotten nicer, we spend a lot of time outside. Time seems to fly by and we have so much fun when we're outside. He still loves his walks, the swings, and the park. He's still scared of dogs and most animals, but he warms up a tiny bit after a while. He won't touch them to save his life though.

*He loves cars and things with wheels. He takes his little cars and "brmmmm"s them around the apartment on his hands and knees. He's turned into such a little boy.

*He's eating constantly and he eats more--adventuring on to new things, even when he touches it and it feels weird.

*He points all the time and communicates what he wants that way. Most of the time it's food or a light switch he wants to play with, or touching the phone, the toaster, the microwave, the computer--basically anything he shouldn't touch.

*He's not saying a terrible amount. If I listen really closely I can sort of make our words like "more", "yes" and "no" and he says "mom" and "da" on occasion.

*He can find my ears, nose, mouth, and eyes. He's still working on finding his own, although he's good at finding anybody's bellybutton including his own.

*He has 10 teeth. Four on top. Four on bottom, and two top molars that are halfway in.

*He naps and sleeps well. He sometimes brings me his blankie so that he can take a nap.

*He arches his back and wails when he's angry. I try and hold him but he squirms out of my hands. He's usually the angriest when I don't let him touch things he wants to touch, like when I wouldn't let him open the drawers and cabinets in the doctor's office today.

*He's still pretty darn cute, although I can't say if he looks more like me or like Kyle. Most people say he's smack dab in the middle.
