Kyle asked me if he had rubbed in all of his sunscreen.  I laughed, took a picture, and then helped him rub it in.  It was even worse when he turned his face to the side. 
Coming in from snorkeling in the ocean.    (If I had a penny for every speedo I saw there, I'd be a rich woman.  Blahck.)

The ceramic guy helped us finish it with a little fancy work of his own, fired it, and handed it back to us looking like this.  A masterpiece, if I do say so myself.

On Wednesday, we strayed off of the resort to a place called Xcaret.  It's a zoo/ancient ruins/park that you wouldn't be able to see everything in a day if you tried.  At night they had an amazing show complete with Ancient Mayan Owl Men and brilliant costume after brilliant costume.

Just finishing snorkeling in an underground cave/lazy river and waiting for the women to get out of their swimming suits.  Okay, waiting for ME to get out of my swimming suit.
Looking at the sea turtles was definitely a highlight.  There were big ones too but the baby ones were just so darn cute.

For future reference, it might help if you knew that he was saying, "Turtle!"


The food there was amazingly elaborate.  Everything they served us looked like it was straight off of the Food Network Channel.

The first full day there Kyle shaved off his beard.

He really missed his beard at first.  But I think he's getting used to the shaved look again.
