We've had a crazy awesome last couple of weeks.
First we went to Yankton with Kyle's family and had a blast boating, cabining, and hanging out.
Caleb was very helpful with the trash.

Fact: The shirt is true.

This past Thursday, my parents stopped by on their way to visit my brother and sister in Colorado. We decided to not go this year and therefore not torture Isaiah by forcing him in the car seat for an unending amount of time. He's not a huge fan.

Both Caleb and Isaiah are teething like mad. I'm giving away teething tablets like it's my job. (Technically, maybe it IS my job. Hmmm.) We decided to let Isaiah try drinking cold water through a sippy and he took it really well. I think I might have solved my "doesn't take a bottle" problem: Make the milk nice and cold and shove it in a sippy.

After my parents left the next day, we decided to have a fun filled day fun and more...ah...fun. (My mind is numb at the moment. Adjectives are not coming easily right now.)

Caleb was super excited about the Children's museum, even though he had gone there just the week before.
He couldn't decide which exhibit was more fun (there I go again) and ran from place to place, squealing with joy the entire time.

Then we went to the Wiggles concert. Caleb's little friend, Emily, had some extra tickets and we benefitted. It was a good time.

Yesterday, we went to the Children's Zoo with Emily's family and I forgot my camera so no pictures for you. It's quite peculiar how we always spend the longest time on the toys at the zoo, not looking at the animals. Ah well, he's having fun. (And again.)
Although Caleb has been pretty tough to handle for a while, I picked up my copy of Love and Logic and re-read some parts--the particular parts that applied to Caleb. Since then, he's been much easier to be around and discipline. He's spending less of his time trying to act up and more being absolutely adorable. He asks me questions like, "What's that called?" and saying things like, "Mommy, this popcorn is SOOO good!" I guess that's a whole different blog entry.

Wow you've been packing in the summer entertainment. Good for you. Glad to hear Caleb is doing better for you.
Wow, I can't believe how big Isaiah is getting! It seems like it wasn't that long ago that he was the little premie in the hospital, and now he's an adorable little chunker :) Looks like you're having a great summer!!!
