When we moved in 3 1/2 months ago, this room was a brownish green color, which didn't match Isaiah's bedspread at all. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for a color so I picked out this apple green color and just went with it. Then we decided maybe we should do an accent color in the green we had from the boys' room before so this is what happened after we painted. Greeeen. All around.
Since then, I've added some things to tone down the green. (I wish this picture would show the true apple green, not the neon that it looks like here.)
First, I made some curtains for the boys. (Unfortunately, you can tell I used different fabric in this picture, but normally you can't tell.) I added some book shelfs for the boys.
These are actually spice racks from Ikea. I got the idea from this website and knew it would be perfect for the boys' room. Not only does it serve as a bookshelf for us, but a cup holder and toy holder as well.
I got this sign from a Pumpkin Patch, believe it or not, by my parents' house. They had local crafts sold there an I loved it. The shoe holder was a must since I'm running out of room in the boys' closet. And I picked up the cheap mirrors from Ikea and placed them Isaiah's height, since he loves looking at himself.
This was a gift from Grandma F, who purchased it at a craft fair and it greets you as you come in. Read it. Sooo true.

love all the little details and did you really do all those alphabet shots in ONE walk? That is amazing--that's an ongoing project I let Lukka use our camera for, though I think he only has a couple done...I should let him see yours and maybe he'll remember! :)

Both the boys' room and Livia's room look great! I love the little book shelves, too--what an awesome idea.
