It's Greek to Me...

Caleb has average of 7 papers he brings home each and every day, so there are times when I don't go through them until the next day.  Or the next day.  Or maybe even the next day.  Or...

You get the picture.

I was just sorting through a bigger stack when I noticed this worksheet.

He wrote his name in Greek.

As if Mrs. P didn't have enough to deal with trying to decipher her class's 1st grade handwriting and spelling.  Now she has to read Greek?

Let me explain!

We've been working on the alphabet with Isaiah and I wrote all the letters and hung them up on our kitchen wall.  Kyle decided he wanted to learn the Greek alphabet in order since he works with Greek letters quite often with his math, so he slapped up his Greek alphabet right above the English alphabet.  Caleb has decided to take on the challenge as well and doodles in Greek every once in a while.

SOOO, hence the Greek.
