Kyle took Caleb deer hunting. The best part for Caleb was the face paint. Caleb was able to keep mostly quiet for almost 45 minutes and then his curiosity got the best of him and couldn't stop talking and asking questions.
This potty training gal found the sprinkles in the cupboard and pushed a chair great lengths, many times over to get to them.
See that wedding picture in the back? We tried a few times to mimic it 9ish years later. This was the best we came up with.
Making cut-out Halloween cookies. I gave out tiny balls of dough every 5 minutes if the kids could keep themselves from constantly popping dough in their mouths. Caleb and Isaiah saved theirs until it got huge and Isaiah kept rolling it on his face. Genius or completely crazy? I don't know people. It might be the new face mask--roll it out on your face and eat as you feel like. (?!)
We went to Lansing by the Mississippi with my parents to see the fall colors.
And here they are!
Liv's first photo.
Livia got a package of princess undies from Grandma Fey in the mail for motivation for potty training. She was so excited about them she took them to bed and slept with them.
Family pile attempt and fail. Apparently 2 and 4 year holds don't know how to family pile. Isaiah just figured it was a rodeo.
8 seconds!
The ladies on Halloween morning. Liv didn't want to pose for the picture before seeing it. After a long while, I finally convinced her that if she wanted to see herself in the camera, she had to smile for the flash first. "Even mom will smile for it," I said.
I've found Livia reading the Prayer Book a lot. This first time I asked her what she was doing. "Reading the Bible," she said. I asked her to read it to me. "Sure!" she said gladly. "Once upon a time there was a little green monster..."
Me: Caleb, stop stop stop! Wait before we go to the first house I want to get a picture! Liv, keep your ewok hood on. Isaiah, turn around. Here Livia, grab your walking stick. Keep the hood on! Turn around Isaiah. Darth, turn around! Caleb stop please! Liv, PLEASE KEEP YOUR HOOD ON. Okay smiiiiiiiiiile. Good! I got one. Go, you're free!
